10 Positive Things That Have Happened To Me In 2021

In what has been an odd year for all of us and with some potentially troubling times ahead, I’ve decided to reflect on a couple of things that have been really positive for me in 2021 for my last blog of the year. I would really love to hear back from you with anything enlightening that has happened this past 12 months and celebrate whatever you have acheived big or small.

10 Positive Things In 2021

  1. I managed to go on three staycations this past year. Despite my business struggling financially at points throughout the pandemic. I was desperate to make sure the first few years of my son’s life are still spent doing things we just won’t get the chance to do when he starts school!
  2. Ben Fedrick Injury Therapy received more reviews across all platforms this past 12 months than any year previous, despite being closed for the first 4 months of the year.
  3. Four of my closest friends have had beautiful healthy babies and they’re all fantastic, with more on the way soon!
  4. My studying has gone to another level; my process is now more thorough and streamlined than ever before with my understanding of pain and the nervous system at an all-time high.
  5. I attended three weddings this year and enjoyed all of them as much as I did any other prior to Covid (maybe I enjoyed my own slightly more ha).
  6. The West Berkshire Therapy Centre (a fitness centre for those who are unable to use conventional gyms), where I work part time, has managed to remain open and continue to help those who need exercise most, thanks to the tireless efforts of trustees, volunteers and staff.
  7. My wife turned 30 and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy a spa weekend together in celebration.
  8. Since reopening in April my business has recorded record numbers for monthly enquiries, monthly appointments booked and positive outcomes.
  9. The Sunday league football team I play for won Newbury’s second division, playing 16 games in 8 weeks! Was mental on my body but really worth it not just because we won the league but appreciating how much the sport means to me after not being able to play for a long period at the beginning of the year.
  10. Thankfully my family and friends are all doing very well health wise and I have been lucky enough to share some incredible moments with them over the last year.
  11. Zac. Was meant to be a list of ten but I can’t not mention my boy, who is now 2 and continues to make every day fantastic.

Merry Christmas And A Happy New Years

There was plenty more and as an exercise in itself I would urge you to do the same. My mental health will no doubt be fragile over the coming months, much like many others but reflecting on the positive where possible is always going to help.

As mentioned I would really love to hear any positivity from you so please do send me anything great that happened this year.

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Years and as always thank you so much for your support!

Kind regards,

Ben
